Koozoo Transforms Old Smartphones Into Networked Web Cameras (video)

Koozoo

A new San Francisco startup company called Koozoo has created a new smartphone application that has been designed to transform old smartphone in to a network link of web cameras.

The new Koozoo application creates a network of streaming smartphone cameras of Koozoo network users, providing either small snippets of video, or an always on video stream.
Koozoo CEO Drew Sechrist explains: “Big Brother is your government one way looking down at you, and this is the exact opposite. This is from the ground looking up from a system that people can all benefit from,”
The service is free at the moment but Koozoo plans to add charges at a later date for premium services, such as saving footage from lives feeds or notifications to alert you of certain events.
For more information on the new Koozoo app jump over to the Koozoo website for details.
“Broadcast a video snippet so everyone can see what it’s like where you are. Or share a 24/7 view of what’s going on outside your home or office window.”
